Hi guys,

I did a back up today and a security wipe and I tried to restore my phone with that back up but it didn't work

Link gave me the error "There was some problem communicating with your device blah blah". Something like that

Due to this stupid screw up, I've lost all my work contacts and calendar..

Is there anyway to restore my damn phone back? The Link has got to be one of the most messed up programs ever.

I even tried reinstalling the Link to the new version but it still gives me that crap excuse!

Shut down Link and Device Manager, then plug in the phone and start link after the device is seen by the PC/Laptop. Try this and let us know.

Is it possible that you renamed your device, and since the wipe it has returned to the defaulted name?
