    I have entered and re- entered all the information for the Blackberry ID yet, when I am on The Link, and try to perform a function like back up,
    something pops up on the screen that says THERE WAS A WARNING DURING BACK UP. THIS DEVICE IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH
    YOUR BLACKBERRY ID. ON YOUR DEVICE, SIGN IN TO YOUR BLACKBERRY ID TO BACK UP THE FOLLOWING: Application Data, Media,
    Settings
    There doesn't appear to be anyway I can make this work. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

    Welcome to the forums,

    If your not on the latest version of link, I'd suggest updating to it now.

    If you are, uninstall than install link

    Your BlackBerry ID is checked before your backup and restore because the Link backup/restore can only be restored to the device which got the same blackberry ID. It is BBID bound.

    Yes, I know and the cell phone I am using is the one that is registered to my id. I can sync files I just can't back them up
