I got the update from Bell. Seems more solid and new swipe is nifty. I notice my battery heats up sometimes now. But the strange thing is that it says I need a software update that is 5MB so when I do the update I am brought back to the screen saying I need an update. But the OS info page shows the coreect new MR build.

Hi guys, not sure if I am missing something but few features I am not able to see/do:

    1) can't do the swipe right then up or down thing to move between msgs, emails.

    2) no search bar in my remember app

    1) if you open a Message you can swipe a Bit to the right and let your Finger on the screen while swiping up or down to go to previous or next messages. Then let your Finger go off the screen.

    2) in Remember App just Start typing.

On Rogers. Updated today through link. No issues with SMS or anything else, except that I have not been able to connect to my home wifi at all. Public wifi at Starbucks and shaw open work fine. I have reset the router, and deleted my saved network profile and ran setup.the network shows up strong In the available network screen but it won't log in with my password. Message says: authentication timed out. Please check your password and try again. My ipad and my wife's xt860 both connect just fine with the same password. I had also loaded bbm channels update today as well. Anyone else experience any similar issues? Will advise when I figure it out.

Update: problem was solved when I disconnected and reinstalled my router. Maybe just a coincidence that this hiccup occurred right after I had updated to .4181

Thanks a lot, only one thing left now. So I was able to do the swipe up and down thing, but it seems that it doesn't work when I am inside a text. Notification and emails it's ok. Only inside a text the gesture doesn't seem to work.

Argh why did they have to go and replace the calendar skin? It looked fine the way it was!

Me to!! Maybe were the lucky ones that didn't have anything go wrong during the update haha. But seriously I love it! Everything seems to be running a little bit better and faster
I think it works fine for more people than it breaks, the people it works fine for just don't bother making threads about how everything went fine.

It only seems like everyone has the problem because the only people who post about it are the people who do.

SO did the OTA update this morning AUG 3rd.2013
Its freaking me out a bit. I did it via phone OTA and i think it installed ok and asked to reboot and so I clicked reboot. and after the white blackberry shows up the fuschia blueish colored loading ring went to 100% but now it just hangs there. Not sure if its doing anything but i'll geuss ill just wait it out to see.

This MR update is terrible. Especially with the sms history freezing and not being displayed, preventing you from sending a message to that person! Not happy.

Same here, still says I have the latest software. Weird, considering I have seen other Rogers customers posting saying they've gotten the update.

To avoid any potential issues with the update, I plan to back my phone up, that way if my text messages disappear or anything else goes wrong, I can retrieve the backup.

My update for my Q10 didn't appear until yesterday. The update for my Z10 was available the same day that the update started being pushed. I wonder if their was some tweaking of the update before I received my Q10 update?

Just noticed a weird anomoly! My phone now gets hot while charging, with BT and wifi on. Never noticed before until after the nr update. I'm with Rogers Wireless. I've also noticed that when bluetooth is active and on connected to another device the wifi icon does not show up despite being on. It only the typical network information like lte and network bars.

Also right after the phone turned back on after the reload and restart I swear THe lte network logo on the upper right was showing 4GLTE....I should have taken a screen pic to show you all...it was the weirdest thing. The phone is all back to normal now but as noted above my phone has been exhibiting strange behaviour ive not noticed prior to the update. THe phone is getting quite warm/hot and that concerns me also.

    Anybody else?

I disliked it so much, that I upgraded to the leaked 10.2 software. Much better.

Thanks you all for your feedback .
After reading around , seems like alot of people facing the same kind of problem like psebastian, for the time being ill not download it for sure .
I updated to 4633 and have had no issues whatsoever, whereas I experienced several oddities after trying 10.2.0.1047 for about a week. Which is why I then migrated to 10.1.0.4633. Nothing was lost and you can always run a backup if you're worried about losing some info. In my case all message history and settings remained intact.

Got the update a few days ago, absolutely no issues. No hanging on reboot, no loss of text messages, etc. Perfectly happy here
