    Hi guys, was doing a device restore on my brothers Q10. Did a full backup and it restored on link. However the phone now seems to be hanging on a screen that I've never seen before. Below is a picture.
    Please advise, desperate.

    If it is a security wipe it takes about 30 minutes

    I guess it is actually a security wipe except it usually says "security wipe in progress" underneath it instead of the circle of death thing...

    Thanks for the replies guys. So I shut down link and disconnected the device. Started link up again and plugged the phone back in. Link picked it up and it is now doing a software update and loading software software. Let's see what happens.
    Btw green light is on...always a good sign

    Ok so everything went fine. Now I'm stuck. I can't restore his backup. It's saying incompatible device software. How can that be possible? The back up is latest official OS. I've got the same OS on the phone now? This is ridiculous.

    My bad, but also weird. The Q10 was running official MR.4181 os. Now its on 10.1.0.2309. Software update says it's on the latest version and link shows nothing.

    Cheers, I'll try that tonight.
    *Update* got sachup running but am a little stuck at how to change the version number of the backup. Sachup is only telling me .2309 is available but the MR is .4181, which is what was originally on the phone when I got backed up. Also don't know I should use upgrade or debrick. Thanks
