I did my research, skipped buying the UK version to avoid not being able to utilize AT&T's LTE network here in US (Los Angeles to be specific), however to my dismay, it turns out while you get 4G connectivity on AT&T here in the US, you will not get LTE unless you get the other more elusive Rogers Q10 which is the SQN100-1, which is apparently what Telus and Bell have as their only option.

That being said, I am going to probably ship back this one to my friend in Canada who bought it for me this week and overnighted it to me here in LA, as I want to maximize this phone's potential in an LTE market. Hopefully they can have the SQN100-1 there for her by the time she comes in to return or exchange this one, if not, will get a Telus or a Bell.

I also have issues with this, unless your on rogers, there's really no reason to buy the -3, i switched from the z10 with perfect LTE to the q10 and now have spotty LTE, even though I'm on rogers. I called rogers and they tried to tell me i need to change my plan, yet when i told then i had a z10 with perfect LTE, and then moved my sim to q10 and now have no LTE they still thought it was my plan. Wtf!? I just said thanks and hung up. Imo, nobody needs the -3, i would rather have -5 or -1

I want to be sure I'm buying the right one to be used on AT&T with all the frequencies AT&T has to offer, including LTE. So is that the SQN100-1, the one that you said Bell and Telus have? Just want to be thorough here and avoid the same mistake.

Yeah making the trip to Toronto! I'm up here in Ontario and Toronto did seem to get top priority. I have heard some locations may not all have all of their stock just yet but plenty of q10s are waiting for you. Should be nice up here tomorrow, 75 and sunny! Enjoy!

Rogers has the -1 as well, just have to see if they stock it in stores, as it seems it can only be had via ordering over the phone from them. Telus and Bell only have -1, so you are good.

You are correct, SQN100-1 is what you want to get, and that is with Bell for sure, and Telus should be the same. Rogers carries SQN100-3 as well as SQN100-1. The issue with Rogers is that it seems to want to really push the SQN100-3 because of their new LTE Max network running on 2600. I have called around because i want to exchange my SQN100-3 for SQN100-1, and no stores have the SQN100-1.

It seems that way for right now. I am not sure because I don't have a device in my hand to tell you other wise. I hope it is just one or a work around that can be done for the early adopters. I'm sure there is some type of key press function that could get to the root phone root and change the frequency. I will leave that up to the guys with the experience and knowledge.

I wish. Because as it stands, with the Rogers -3, i only really get LTE when I'm outside, in buildings, or my house, it's 4G only. With my z10 on rogers i had LTE everywhere! Fml

Rogers seems to use LTE bands 4 and 7 (1700 and 2600), but none of these phones does boths bands..so you have to pick!

If the phone doesn't do both, then the choice you have is about coverage. There is more coverage for the 1700 band, and less for the 2600; however the LTE you will get with the 2600 band will be significantly faster than the 1700 band. If you live in a major city like Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver, I'd go for the 2600 version.
