If anyone is having bluetooth connectivity issues between their BB10 Q10 please be advised:
At this time, Mercedes Benz does not support OS10.2.1
If you are having problems, that is why.
I ended up buying a new Q10 with OS10.1 and did not do the upgrade and everything works fine.

Here is the Mercedes link to supported mobile devices:
    Mercedes-Benz Bluetooth Connectivity

I have not been able to contact Mercedes yet as to when 10.2 will be supported.
I'm assuming you will have to make a trip to the dealership to get the upgrade (not sure)

It's the other way around, 10.2 should support them. Benz shouldn't be doing any work as far as I'm concerned.

Lol no, benz should be the one doing the upgrade. All car manufacturers have been doing this since the first BT implementation in cars

Agreed. Thinking about how many phones are released per year along with the different models, it wouldn't make sense for them to test with all variants of every manufacturer. If 10.1 worked and something broke in 10.2, that is a regression.

The issue has been well-discussed here and there is now a BlackBerry knowledge base article on it:

KB35735-Unable to reconnect to Mercedes-Benz car kits via Bluetooth after upgrading the BlackBerry 10 smartphone

It seems that there is bluetooth support for 10.2 for the Z30 but none of the other BB10 devices

for me, after installing a new 10.2.1 leak my bluetooth will not automatically connect the next time or two after pairing, but after enabling hands freemode again (your phone should prompt you, or try to force a connect to force it) it works perfectly fine every time after that. it's been like that on all the 10.2.1 leaks i've installed on my Q10.

I'm currently using Q10SQN100-2/10.2.1.2228, but I never had any issues on any 10.2 or 10.2.1 leak I can remember aside from the first connect or so as mentioned.

Strange. I would assume that at least one BlackBerry executive drives a Mercedes-Benz and would have caught this before releasing the OS.
