Got my ballistic sg cover for my Q10. Looks like it will stand and protects it. My downside though is this rubber part is very dust and small particles magnet. Add a little bulky, but not too much.

Yeah, my choice would have been Otterbox commuter since it has a hard outershell, so it does not collect as much dust.

But the Ballistic case looks really tough as well, it sure beats carrying the phone naked or some 1 piece plastic case.

Just got the commuter today. It does work really well and feels great in the hand. It adds some thickness to the device which helps me since I have big hands. The only problem I have with it is that when you click buttons near the edge of the keyboard, my fingers rub on the case. This isn't a huge deal. I really don't care too much. But all in all, the commuter seems like the perfect case so far.

Yeah, it's good enough to protect it. I was going for otterbox but the back is slippery and a bit too bulky. I think ballistic and otterbox are 2 good ones for Hardcore. Lol. My Q10 though is snaked around the house.

I use the BlackBerry OEM flip case. It offers several advantages:
    1. Looks good, with BlackBerry logo
    2. Shuts off display as soon as closed, extending battery life.
    3. Display returns immediately when opened.
    4. No screen protector is necessary.
    5. Message light shows through window.
    6. Grippy and high-quality.
    7. Cover folds back so it isn't in the way for typing.
    8. Protects the phone really well.
    9. Not too bulky.

It takes a little while to get used to having the flip-cover, but it doesn't get in the way. One small issue I had with cover fitting too loosely after several months was easily remedied by putting a couple drops of hot-melt glue on the inside of the spine to take up the slack.

Wow how did it happen? Mugen actually does battery for a lot of phones so I expected them to be good quality.

And if you just got them, you must be covered under their warranty.

I'm pretty sure Mugen is the only extended battery case for the Q10 anyways.

    What was wrong with it?

The Mugen is $89. Presumably it's better than this one which is $25:

BlackBerry Q10 External Backup Battery Case 2800 mAh - Black

I had no idea they existed for the Q10. Power cases are such a good idea for long flights / travel.

It's really bad quality, the complete case. Its nothing for the nice BlackBerry

I am really not happy with this product.

Go with OtterBox. I have the defender, and I love it. The main reasons I'd reccomend OtterBox are the protection, and the company overall. The customer service is top notch.

I use the original hard shell case. It comes with a BlackBerry screen protector as well.

The case barely adds bulk and it offers good protection.

Here it is, so far it's my favorite. Looks so professional, slick, and elegant. It's not bulky, it has this tiny magnified glass for notification light. Sweet!

It is a great case. The only downside: the hinge material may stretch over time, so the cover fits loosely and doesn't stay clasped. I fixed it with a couple neat bumps of hot-melt glue on the inside of the spine to take up the slack. Still going strong after 9 months.

The idea of this case is nice, gives you a glance of an info (ie events) however what if you have multiple notifications.? Anyway, cool and thanks for sharing.
