So i'm looking for a new case guys. I want something protective but not huge and bulky.

My number 1 choice right now is the OtterBox Commuter series. The defender is wayy too big in my opinion.

Let me know of any other good cases!

My daily work case is the Incipio Frequency case. Simple design, slim, protective and fits perfectly in my Seidio holster. For weekends, I have several more protective and stylish cases including the Otterbox Commuter and several others (forget the brand names). In short, I have a variety of "outfits" that I dress my Q10 in.

Poetic atmosphere. I had it on my galaxy s4, and it's good and really cheap. 6 bucks on amazon, it's got a nice lip around the sides.

I am partial to the otterbox commuter, but then I have had one on my last 4 devices, except the Z10, which did not have a commuter offered!

Commuter or ballistic case(if your going to go naked and protected often)m

Currently using the ballistic not pocket friendly. I managed to crack the commuter case, pocket friendly.

Both cases are a lot bulkier than the slim designs, but a lot less bulky than the defender case.

I like my insipio dual pro. Great size, very 'grippy" feel to it, I looked at the Otterbox commuter, and found it to be very slippery, the Insipio was very easy to hold on to.

I went with the official BlackBerry leather slip-in sleeve. I like my BlackBerry naked but protected. This level of protection is most suitable for the suit & tie crowd, not somebody that's rough on his BlackBerry.

I use the oem hard shell. I like it. Keeps it minimal but secure. It is a little slick on the back but it doesn't bother me. I also have the ishieldz screen protector and waiting on my oem leather pocket to come in for when I want to use naked. I am pretty careful with my devices and I don't like adding bulk or taking away from the beauty of the Q10!

I just ordered one as well, wallet brown for the q10, also was able to ablly a coupon code SENASAVER2014 so it was 17.99 and shipping was kind of weird. Last night overnight shipping was 8.69 dollars. Since I was at work I couldn't order. This morning overnight shipping was over 27 dollars. I went ahead and selected standard shipping 4.xx. Grand total of 24.60 for a super nice case....

Has anyone seen the brushed aluminum case from casemate? It's pretty expensive at $50 but its absolutely gorgeous

You won't be disappointed. They package them beautifully in individual boxes that you can re-use for anything else. I've ordered so many things from them over the years. Post back here when you get it! Cheers

I was initially confused about it too. They have more info on the instructions (PDF) page located here (even though it's the instructions for the iPhone case, it works the same as the one for the Q10):

It fits really well. Another really nice thing about this case is that you can use it with a screen protector, since there are no clips or tight edges that would prevent it from being secured.

+1 My naked Q10 is either in my hand or in the leather sleeve in my pocket. This gives me the best of both worlds - the fantastic in-hand feel of the Q10 plus the protection of the sleeve.

I have the Incipio Frequency also. It adds no bulk but is protective all the way around the phone and adds enough grippiness that I'm not fearful of dropping it.

After reading this thread, I'm starting to lust after that Sena leather wallet case now, though!
