So after massive issues with PIM services since I had my phone (at launch) I now have the best battery life ever after deleting the stock Twitter and Facebook accounts / apps.

Anyone having massive PIM issues like I did, try deleting these apps, accounts. I'm using Blaq and side loaded FB Android. No problems atall.

I'm getting around 14 hours moderate usage now.

Who would have thought that native apps could be the issue. Glad you figured out your issue.

    Thankfully, hasn't affected me.

I have both Facebook and Twitter installed.

Facebook have the following notifications enabled: Notifications, Messages.

    Twitter: No notifications are enabled

I don't experience any unusual battery drain.

I was having the exact same battery drain as the OP and meticulously went through all my apps yesterday disabling notifications and extended sync times to try and solve the issue. I suspected the instant FB, LinkedIn, Google Talk, etc. updates to be culprits and today the battery life seems much improved. I also went in and fiddled with Gmail settings as well as I read having all the folders synced might be an issue as well.

I don't understand why twitter and fb would cause PIM to go crazy and drain my battery!
