    BlackBerry 10 doesn't have bis

Try going to Settings/ Acounts. there all your accounts should be listed with a brief description. I don't have a BES so I don't know for sure, but if it says work, then I believe your on a BES. Also somewhere in settings there is a choice to split work and personal, if you cannot change it, not on BES. i cannot find this setting on my current OS (latest offical) might have been on my 10.3 leak though. Hope this helps.

Well, did you set an account up via "work account?"

    No BIS in BB10

I set it up. I just entered my username and password for my work email and entered the company's server and voila - everything synced perfectly. Since there is no BIS in 10, does that mean im on BES10?

No: you are not on a BES unless you used the Enterprise Activation option in Settings and were given an access password outside of your email password. You may want to check with your employer and make sure that you are permitted to add work email to a personal device. BYOD may be popular in some areas, but not all companies allow it.

When you swipe down on the home screen to reveal the quick settings menu, do you see Work side (Balance) at the bottom?

So yes, for the 3rd+ time, you are not on BES. Just curious, why are you asking in the first place?

I had read a post long ago that indicated BES Admins had access to see what their employees were typing into BBM. I know this was before BES10, but i didnt want to risk it, so i thought i'd make sure. Here is a link to the post What can my BES Admin see on my BlackBerry handheld ... ??? - Port3101.org : Your BES Connection

Excellent. Its good to know I can rely on BBM as a communication tool without fear of my employer reading to content of my instant messages. I even started looking at alternate options (Wickr - encrypted IM chat https://www.mywickr.com/) but will now continue to rely on BBM for my chatting needs.

I wish BBM had the ability to develop new features such as self-destruct messages or schedule IMs in the future just like competitor products.

You won't see self-destruct messages in BBM because of the numbers of regulated clients BlackBerry has. They need to have a method of archiving any messages sent out in case of lawsuits or other investigations.

    Incorrect Wayne.

Since BES5 if enabled BES Admins can have BBM chats logged and tracked. This is FACT and an article several years ago about illegal poaching employees from former high level staff just in Bay Street in Toronto was false only because that corporation was not using BES5, but BEs4.x. That said v that particular court case did show stupid staff where using SMS on bbs, which a simple carrier detailed Billing was able to find out. Lol.

Search for full BED specs and Administrators features.

    BES10: http://docs.blackberry.com/en/admin/...ise+Service+10

I don't have full access to BEs10 policies but I'll check.

    ? BlackBerry Z30 ? If it Don't Make Dollars, It don't Make Sense ?
