Using browser, every page I go to has popup blocker pop up; it says: "Some content is blocked", "Risks of showing all", and "show all".

This is new; it hasn't happened before, and it is now doing it for practically every page I load.

I'm using a BB anti-virus, which has spotted ONE virus - but it doesn't remove it: how do I remove the virus??

Thanks for reading, and maybe helping.

You probably do not need any anti virus software on BlackBerry 10.

Also, some websites would have excessive pop-ups, so the browser can only do so much.

Ditch the anti-virus, it's not needed.
What sites are you trying to visit when this happens? We can check them with you

I doubt your phone has a virus, I do get this message from time to time, it depends on the site you are visiting

I see this sometimes too. Never seemed like a virus to me. Just a feature.

It may be that the blocked portions are using expired TLS certs as well. Many sites wait until the last minute to update their site.

If the BlackBerry has a virus, then it's probably not a BlackBerry.

Screen shot please. Sorry about your troubles. Without a screen shot it's hard to determine whether what you see is normal but happening at a high rate due to the sites or if it is indeed virus. Doubtful it's a virus, but a screen shot will help us help you. If it's just a black banner across the saying something to the effect of a portion of site being blocked and then has a circle with a line through, that's not a virus that's just blocking certain. Could be the inability to load portions of the page incompatible with the BlackBerry browser or could have potential unrecognized code so it just asking if you want to open the addition page items. Good luck.

Installed "max secure antivirus" initially good. I decided when to scan for ?problems. Then upgrade came about. I downloaded it. Ran independently, constant alerts of negative findings and phone started to run warm more than usual. I dc'd it. Of questionable value.

I found the same thing when I installed that program. I had false alerts constantly. I deleted it in short order without any regrets.

That must be said. You didn't need an Antivirus on your phone. Even if you install Android apps, just activate BlackBerry Guardian in the settings so the package is scanned first.

Now, keep in mind that a perfectly good app can play with your files, your SMS,... or your contacts without being a virus. And so be a security risk.

Your issue OP seems to be related to the hot-spot or the mobile network your using. Probably DNS poisoning.

Start by uninstall any antivirus on your phone.
