What a great feature! Was talking to my wife while she is in the Cayman Islands and I'm back in Toronto. Apart from the lag in connecting the call, I've had zero issues with this. And the call quality is amazing.

My wife has an iphone so no BBM video chatting for us yet though.

That's great! I've always enjoyed the call quality of the BBM voice calls. I've also signed up for the free trial of BBM meetings which is cross platform. Last time I sent my old Z10 along to allow video calling to my Z30 (no SIM required) I'm looking forward to BBM meetings. Perhaps they want to sell the top tier as BBM meetings then scale it down to cross-platform video only for a lower price? Regardless, as soon as I can verify the quality between iPhone and BB10, I'll likely treat myself to BBM meetings. Remember only the person initiating the call needs to have a paid subscription so as long as that person always starts the meeting, you are golden.

I use it to chat with my son when I'm traveling. He doesn't have a phone, but he has an iPad and this makes it very convenient to say hi to the boy. I wish we had video on ios!

Yeah, I don't know why ios does not have the BBM video yet, or Android. Would be great to use as I travel a lot for work.
