So I used an autoloader for the leaked 10.2.1.1055.

At 1st BBM worked came back fine. Once I restored all my old info, it stopped working.

Also BlackBerry Protect isn't working. I'm just more concerned with BBM right now.

Anyone has a fix for this or can lend some advice?

I'm using a SQN 100-1

No but i'll give it a try and see what happens. I had Channels before the update so i'll see if it works.

I tried the beta version and got the same issue as before.

I'm on a Z. I restored using Link, and App Data was not allowing me to run the android apps. I Reinstalled the OS, restored only Media, and Settings, and all is working.

All I backed up was media and app settings. When I restored those it messed me up. I'll give it another try though.

"App settings" Is it App data, or settings data? App data for me is what was causing problems.

what i did was copy my contacts to sim card instead of doing a back up. i figured my emails could be recovered and i could deal with downloading other apps for everything else.

Everything works like a charm!

BBM and BB Protect back up and working.

Also got IG, Bank of Amer., and Bitstrips working by downloading the APKs.

Thing is,when you install a leaked OS the you can do is start afresh and not restore from backup!

Incurable Q10 Syndrome

this leak is buggy all over the map....I had to restore my q10 last night back to carrier 10.2.0.424. Even with the proper runtime it affected current apps causing them to freeze and not open. But I like some of the newish features like side to side call swipe handling, custom drop down menu and flashlight.

the drop down quick menu is a great addition to the os...as soon as i notice it i deleted my flashlight app.

a few things i noticed:

1) When using the up gesture to go to home screen the battery indicator displays a percentage as opposed to just the battery image.

2) i can really get used to this swipe right then up/down to navigate to next/prev messages

3) pinch to navigate to message type (priority, flagged, etc)

4) Hub management: arrange order of each account in the HUB

I upgraded to 10.1.1055 and I backed up and restored through link after a security wipe. No issues over here. I do have signal issues, but I believe that's common with this build. I may downgrade because of that tn actually

Also, did you notice that when in an email the floating left / right arrows? They take you to the message previous or next.

yea i saw that option. I'm glad BB added the option but its just not for me. maybe i'll change my mind if i get tired of the gesture.
