I'm trying to charge my Q10 and it blinks the yellow led, as for drained battery, then tries to boot, turning on the red led, but no logo appears, scrren is black. Then the red les turns off and the yellow one blinks again. It's like it is trying to boot, but has no battery left, and then tries again and again. I tried letting him charge for half an hour or more, no effect. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you

The Q10 is one of the few BB10 phones that has a replaceable battery - just pop out the old one and snap in a new one. Have you tried a new battery? (Last time I looked, Amazon still sold OEM batteries for the Q10.)

Yes, Amazon still sells OEM batteries. They also have "new" (???) Q10's available through a specific reseller. Don't know if I would honestly pay $150 for a new Q10 at this point, but for $50-60 I would be comfortable taking the plunge.

Similar issues with the Q10 that I got, past owner had it some *years* into a cupboard. The battery was friggin flat. There is always the old trick : boot the phone without battery (connected on the charger) then when the "BlackBerry" logo appears, insert the battery back.
