I've had the Z10 since launch and bought a Q10 just over a day ago. I've unplugged my phone and gone into the device manager and this is the life it shows. That can't be right can it?

The first couple of days the battery sucks just give it a 3 to 4 days
The Device Monitor simply estimates the displayed battery runtime based on the current usage and discharge. It doesn't mean it is the actual battery life. Try this: turn OFF your data and see your battery runtime estimate go high up in the clouds.

exactly, i dont know why people brag about it, saying the phone has 10% battery left and the remaining time of usage is 12 hours!
I dont trust it at all!

Instead of looking to the "Remaining time", look into the graph and see how the battery held up over time of usage. That is a very good indicator.
Means that BB device monitor is not an accurate method to know the battery backup.

I don't seem to get what you mean by "battery backup". The Device Monitor is "accurate" on monitoring your device's battery, CPU, and memory although it shouldn't be always used to prove a battery runtime since it depends on a person's usage.
Or he's never using his phone. A phone will learn your pattern and will calculate the estimated time. So when you are never using your phone than it will state a way higher estimated number.
I once got 58h on heavy usage, i don't remember what OS i was using at the time, but i wan't that autonomy again. nowadays i get between 22h-40h, depending on the usage, i don't know if it is a faulty battery or a faulty wall charger
I'm kind of freaked out by the battery. I don't have wifi or mobile on most of the day, but use the Q10 in the evenings for a lot of calls. I don't charge for days. With the 9850 and Z10, I had gotten used to daily recharges and I keep thinking the Q10 would die if I didn't do the same. Nope.
