Hey there!

I am kinda stunned! Since the 10.2. I have battery drain!

I have the external battery charger which works like a charm. yesterday I sticked in my loaded battery (green light) in the Q10 and I booted up my phone As usually. Then I saw that the battery was just half full ???

This morning I put in the second supposed full battery. What happened???? RED notification. My battery is by about 2%.

Does someone have the same issue????

Please help me out guys, because everything worked good since then.

When did you upgrade to 10.2? Typically, new OS installs take a bit longer to settle in, so battery consumption is higher for the first 24-48 hours and several reboots.

How did you upgrade? From the device or a PC?

I updated via the device last week. From German carrier. all worked like a charm.

I am a little bit confused. I always charge my batteries with the external battery charger from BlackBerry! It's a huge advantage, because your phone is in use every time. It always worked out!

But since yesterday all changed. Before I go to sleep, I charge one battery which is low. The next day I wake up, I pop in the full battery and put the lower one inside the charger.

But all two (when I put them in the Q10) and low

Don't know why.

Have you tried using the traditional charger, to eliminate the possibility of a defect with your external charger?

Hold your Vol +&- keys down for ca40 seconds /first you do a screenshot but keep pressing until you see the Pink purple blackberry Logo again... Then give your device 2 minutes to load. After that go to settings - app Manager - device Monitor - and click on System ... Post your Screen here

@Danny Ocean. I am loading one of my battery since 1 hour with the external charger. When it's done, I will charger the one with the traditional charger from BlackBerry.

Gentlemen,

really strange. I charged all my 2 batteries with the charger, and they seem all fine. All 100%.

I have no clue. Maybe the charger is defect! I will monitor it and will report.

Awright Ladies and gentlemen!

All good!!!! It was an app I downloaded from BB World.

It's an app, where you can check the cheapest gas stations in Germany. It used the GPS all the time!! Even in the reviews someone mentioned that also.

What buggers me: I charged my batteries. When I put then inside my Q10, they where all already LOW...

Can't understand. Anyway, I kicked the "Gas Station"-App and now all works like before. My batteries are even better now since 10.2.

I have noticed with my Z10, since I upgraded to 10.2.0.1791, that sometimes the system just goes crazy with usage. The back gets hot, and the battery use goes way up. A restart straightens it right, though.
