I went into my local Verizon store today to purchase the Q10. I paid full retail for the phone. When the salesman went to the back to get the phone, he came back out and said the manager wanted to give me some gifts for purchasing. He went back to the back and brought out a BlackBerry holster case, a car charger, a jawbone icon HD bluetooth headset and a Big Jambox bluetooth speaker. All was free of charge. What an awesome way to thank someone for buying a phone. If your in the Mobile, Al area I would recommend the store at Airport and schillinger. Aside from the gifts, the salesman was very knowledgeable of BB10 and was using a Z10. Gave me several pointers on side loading apps, etc. Very cool guy. Check the picture...

I must say I had a great experience when ordering mine today as well. I did not get any goodies, and I extended my contract, but they allowed me to upgrade early.

I switched to Verizon and got my Q10 today. While the sales person was amazingly nice and didn't speak ill of any phone (or push one for that matter), he knew little about the Q10. It also wasn't even out for display!

Golly. My Verizon store, also in Alabama, doesn't have either the Z10 or Q10 and they said they I was "stupid" for considering them. Maybe I need to drive down to Mobile

In fact, to date, I have never seen either device. All of the stores here either don't carry them or just have the plastic mock-ups on display.

I too had a great Verizon Experience yesterday getting my Q10. I didn't get any freebies, but we had to jump through a bunch of hoops to let me get the phone (restrictions on my corp LTE sim). The sales rep was actually very knowledgeable and friendly the whole time, and I had no issues. He showed me some very useful tips for the device even.
