That's because we lost so many little things that we grew used to with BB07 when BB10 came along.

You can still use a custom ring tones that goes crescendo though...
Thanks. I do miss the feature, it was useful for me when in the office. I want the ringtone to start low so I dont disturb others in a quiet environment but escalate further just in case I am away from my desk or if I happen to be outside in a noisier environment.
