I have a blackberry Q10 and I installed an app which I have used before. I am trying to restore my data to the app from a back-up file I have from another phone. Now it might be a case that my android had a different back-up file type, but from what I understand about the app is it should be able to use the same file.
The problem is I am not sure where to put the file for the app to read the data. On my android it was saved in it's own folder on my sim card, what is the equivalent for the Q10? Is there a place I can substitute my current file with the back-up? It doesn't show in the file manager or the sim card data.
I don't know if that makes any sense, if you need more details I can give them. I did try and make a new back-up file and then restored successfully with the file... then I tried to locate that file in the file manager, but I can't find it.
I downloaded the app from BBW, it runs as it should.
The data files are stored on the device memory more than likely.
Device/Misc/android and somewhere from there
Take a look using file manager and see if you can find it.
Maybe try to use the app without your file. Just to see if it creates another file similar to yours. Then, if it does, just replace the newly created file with the one you have from before. Or, use the app fresh, but this time create a new backup file, just to see where it puts that file, then replace it with your other one. I don't know, just a thought.
