Well, it technically is possible to get ridiculous amounts of storage with the Z30's USB host feature and a large micro SD card. But, equally ridiculous, is the USB drive sticking out the side.

Awesome!! I didn't know you could use such spacious cards. That is a KILLER feature.
I've got a rather large music collection, it's only 60GB's approx. You've got a lot of tunes broheem.

I do. I've a ludicrous amount of music, and love it :)

Same boat... I carry a lot of music with me... 128GB is so far the biggest. Got the Sandisk for my Passport with 110GB of music there (need room for other stuff too!). But with the exFAT support, technically, that goes up to 1TB as far as i understand. I am pretty sure later in 2015, Samsung/Sandisk/Kingston/Lexar will have a 256GB offering. Can't wait so i can have ALL my music (180GB) with me anywhere, and no freaking streaming.
Depends also on compression. All my music is 256kbps. For example on my 128GB sandisk card in my passport, i store 15,119 songs -> 118,114,435,737 bytes. I have other friends with 10,000+ songs, but mostly 128kbps, so the file sizes are much smaller.
Yeah it works, using a 256gb card I got on eBay from China in my Z10. Sandisk.
Issues using 64gb micro SD card in Q10 10.2.1.3062
Formatted micro SD card with minitools but upon restart I got an "card has a problem" requesting format.
Is there any reason why it isn't working?

Sure it's real? just because it says 256GB doesn't mean it is... try and get past 128GB then.
SANDISK don't have any official news about a 256GB Micro SDXC (Highest they have is 128GB)
Unless you can find me an official link ?
