Yes you can. Just install 10.2.1.1925 OS and then download a Android App store. You will be able to download Waze strait in to you're phone. My experience to be honest is that BlackBerry Maps are a better gps driving app but people who are used to use Waze like to continue with the same application. BlackBerry Maps have a cleaner, less clutter UI and shows you the traffic using TomTom. I deleted Waze but that's my preference And yes is free.

Waze is available in BBW also, it is an android port from an older version. The reason I use Waze over BlackBerry Maps is Waze let's me know if my destination is on the right or left, that way I know which lane to be in. BlackBerry Maps always says it's straight ahead.

I use Waze which I downloaded from BlackBerry World. Yes, it's free. So far, the experience has been good. I prefer it to BB Maps.

I have used waze a couple of times. Best part is that you can set your destination through wifi and finish the journey offline. Something bb can't. The worst part, if the destination is to far away it cannot calculate it (route nit found). But remember this happened to me in europe, planning route from Netherlands to France. Roughly about 350 miles or 500km

I love Waze. Side loaded it initially but I stopped using it because my Z10 would heat up really quickly so I uninstalled it. Then it was released in BlackBerry World as an Android port so I installed it again hoping that they had optimized it for use on BlackBerry's and solved the heating issue, but sadly no. So I uninstalled it again and gave up. I tried once again when I installed the leaked 10.2.1.1925 OS hoping that the latest version of Waze, 4.something I think, would again improve on the heating issue but sadly again, it hasn't.

Great app, just wish it didn't overheat my phone as much as it does. It's also a battery hog. My phone barely gets a charge if I'm using Waze and it's plugged in. Over an hour and a half drive with Waze running, I'll be lucky if I get a 5% increase in my battery while it's plugged in

It's not available for the Q10 in BlackBerry World. I just switched to a Q10 from a Z10, but I'm running the latest leak so it wasn't hard to get the Android version installed.

I've also got a Q. How's yours holding up btw? You've made a couple threads regarding it in the past.

Idk if you've been staying away from the leaks or not, but if you have, 10.2.1.1925 is amazing and you should consider it. I believe this is the version that is officially being released now according to the forums.

I absolutely love waze. I use it everyday. As others have said, for some strange reason it was never made available to the Q10 in BlackBerry World, but the version in BlackBerry World is way out of date anyway. Download the latest version from snap and it works amazing. Hopefully google doesn't ruin it.

    You really are confused

    Anyone use Waze?-img_20140119_221910.png

It is available for the Z10 running OS 10.2 and above for sure and probably the Z30 as well but due to screen size it's not available for the Q5 and the Q10.

Hope this makes you less confused.

It really has nothing to do with screen size, it's just that the developer didn't bother to update the BlackBerry World listing when the Q was launched. Same reason the version in BlackBerry World is 10 updates behind the one on Google play. The apk works perfectly on the Q10 when installed directly or side loaded as a bar.

Well, thanks for clearing that up, but let's be clear. This is a Q10 forum, not Z anything. Therefore all those who responded re BB World are entirely responsible for my confusion, and had no business responding if they didn't know the answer to my question.

Using waze for a couple months. I made the mistake of loading the latest, which won't allow me to share my route and Eta. Going to put an older one on my q10.
