So I used to have a q10 that had the, set it on a hard surface and it'll reboot issue. I brought it in twice to Telus for repair, on the third attempt for repair they offered me any brand new phone in the store to replace it. At the time I got the z30 which I loved, but only picked it because the passport wasn't released yet, which I've since bought. Keep in mind that they kept the original device balance and term, I didn't need to renew.

Fast forward to yesterday, my wife also has a q10 with the same issue and just got a brand new passport for free with no renewal for the same reasons!

You have to go to a Telus Corp location and not a third party, usually malls are best, but there ya go, go get yourself a free brand new phone for all q10 Telus users! (yes they'll allow you to pick an android or iPhone as well if you don't want another BlackBerry, but seriously who wouldn't get the passport!?)
