It's the sync'd bookmarks and open tabs features I'm after.

I work between three desktops and the ability to have shared history and open tabs is fantastic.

Fiends with Android devices demonstrated their ability to extend that to their phones.

    I want.

I've looked a third party options like xmarks. Not satisfactory.

Made such a mess across all my devices.

If you just want to have shared bookmarks, why not try Opera Mini for mobile devices and Opera 12 for desktop? They have Opera Sync, which does what you are looking for. Granted Opera Mini has its own section, so it won't be true "same everywhere", but at least it doesn't rely on Google Services

So far, Chrome only works with the Android runtime that comes with the 10.3 leak. It doesn't work on any of the 10.2.1 OS's, except of course when the 10.3 runtime is sideloaded.

I've got it running now in 10.3. However still haven't figured out the sync. There have been whispers and screen shots of a patch for Google services. Looks like I need to get that working too.

By the way, the 10.3 browsers speed is stunning!

I've got 10.3.1.2072 on my Q10 SQN100-4 and it's working flawlessly. It's fast and clean and wonderfully improved. I even got Firefox and Chrome installed via Snap 2.0.0.2. Both run fine. I am able to login to Firefox sync services without issue, but Chrome has been a problem. When I try to login, it redirects me back to BB account services. Adding a Google account there doesn't help.

It would be nice if there was a workaround. I already tried installing an Android launcher and access Android settings from that, but BB's devs are just too good and integration is too clean.

Yesterday I installed Chrome on my Passport from Snap. After downloading and installing I deleted Chrome, ran the apk through Lucky Patcher. Reinstalled, logged in and synced. All of my bookmarks synced up. Chrome runs just fine though keyboard scrolling is a bit wonky. Lucky Patcher can be found here: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?p=10118742

No disrespect to you or anyone trying to get Chrome working, but why would you even want anything which would invoke or require Google services on your BlackBerry? If you got Firefox working, that's awesome. Firefox is a great browser and not tied to Google.

If it's just to get the tabs and bookmarks synced via Chrome, a combination of using Xmarks and Pocket Reader (lots of third party app support) works well with BBOS7 through to BB10 and PlayBook. You shouldn't use Xmarks to sync with Firefox-sync enabled browsers, as your bookmarks may get messed up. If you want Chrome for the Google experience, it's better to just use an Android phone IMO.

Personally I hope Google services are never integrated with BB10. I wouldn't want any of that crap on my BlackBerry.

Ya know, I use Android devices as well as BlackBerry ones. And the amount of my arse that Google knows about and has control over scares me. Every once and a while I think about going completely away from the Google ecosystem.
