If it was official (for your carrier), you'd have it. You can download the 10.2.1 OS that's official for other carriers (not a leaked version) and install it very easily via Sachesi like BlackBerryMalaysia said. Just make sure to do a full backup before beginning the process. You'll need that to restore your data after the update.

I got sick of waiting for Verizon to take off the barbecue mitts and release 10.2.1 so I used Sachesi to download the Rogers version and it's perfectly stable. The download took over an hour even on my fairly speedy home WiFi.

I attempted several methods to Install version 10.2.1. The one that works best was Sachesi. No data was lost, only a few apps don't work. All settings were preserved. Improved performance makes the upgrade worth while.

This is what I do, because I am on TMOBILE, and my z30 is unlocked. This will only work if you have an unlocked phone.

Go on ebay, buy a sim card from a Canadian carrier, and once it comes in, swap it out and turn off the cell signal, therefore just leaving Wifi on. Wait about 5 minutes, and then do a software update and poof, there you go.
