Have had an issue with double typing for about six months but since I have put leaked 10.3 on my Q10 problems seem to have gone away... fingers crossed

I am waiting for the 10.3.1 official update. Then I will decide what to do about the double typing problem. New keyboard then or virtual keyboard phone. I know the majority of opinion say it is a hardware problem but my instinct is it is OS related.

I have a Z10 and a Q10 and switch between them every so often. I'm posting this from the Q10 and I've never had any problems.

Some times I see double characters on the Q10 but that has nothing to do with the phone. Just me having a bit to much fun.

I think the Q10 problem is kind of a region-exclusive problem :-? For example most of those Q10 comes from the same factory (i.e. Foxconn)

The only problem I had with the Q10 was with the Nordic keyboard (mine is the Nordic version). But when I had the Verizon one, which is the original keyboard, I didn't have any problems. The "double typing" hasn't appeared yet.

I was using a Q10 for a few months before switching to a Z30. I didn't have any double tying issues but the space bar seemed like it was a little soft.

Purchased June 2013 (Mexico build). I had several months of double-typing between 8-12 months. I thought about replacing the keyboard but never did. Since then, it has been completely fine -18 months and running strong.

Got a "refurb" from ATT (thank you) for another problem which resolved the KB problem last August 2014. So far running well.
