So the girlfriend has come home tonight VERY pi$$ed off. Somehow, for some reasons her Q10 has wiped her Hotmail, Gmail and phone logs. All emails are wiped from the server.

As I type this I wonder only one thing... Is it possible an app with dodgy permissions could do this, or does anyone know of what could have caused this?

(Scrub that idea, just checked, only 2 apps on there, neither with permission)

Needless to say, lots of emails she wanted to keep are gone.

It was user error. She clicked to delete all prior messages and ignored the warning. Many have done that.

Yup I have since seen the threads, thank you and put her straight on her ways haha.

Hope they do something to make it a little harder in an update soon.

i was having the same problem, and other users were having this problem with deleted hub items like sms, e-mails, phone logs too.
i am not shure weather its a bug or its the users fault. deleting mustnt be that easy imho!!!

This happened to me too yesterday, maybe I did it by accident but don't recall deleting.

Anyway check the deleted folder for all emails, I found mine were in there so just moved them back from outlook and it Re synced with the phone.
