I don't think Alicia Keys did anything wrong as "creative director" I just think she probably wasn't given any duties from BlackBerry since Marketing wasn't high up on their priorities. BlackBerry hired her, but more than likely just didn't do anything after that, or give her anything to work with. These are just my assumptions. That's cool though to see her using the Q10.

My contact at BB said that her contract is soon over and the writing on the wall is that she won't be renewed. Seeing how JC has started to clear house I doubt that it'll be long. The whole idea was an interesting one with some potential but like lots as of late... Poorly executed.

The naysayers are always giving this woman crap. They don't even follow her music or watch the shows she guest stars on nor do they read the magazines that she appears in, if they did they would see she often times has it with her.
You will not see AKEYS mainstream holding a BlackBerry. Pick up a urban magazine she's in and you just might see her with a BlackBerry.
There is more going on outside of your narrow-minded world.

I keep thinking Alicia Keys should be shown the door. Yet, I am all about second chances. Perhaps Keys and BlackBerry didn't have a definite plan for what she should actually do for the company. If a clear plan is implemented going forward, I may be back on the Alicia Keys bandwagon. She is definitely a beautiful lady, so that is always a good start.

I don't think it's Alicia's fault. She could have been good spokesperson and endorser if Blackberry had a concrete plan on what to do with her. Glad the CMO is fired. Come on how many companies that offer so so products and services yet can garner a lot of sales. For a company as big as BlackBerry as it was. It could have come up something more creative.
