    Hi all,

Looking to return to using a Blackberry but need to check something with you users first please

Can you set a volume level for the Alarm clock, as the nasty iPhone 4S I'm currently using doesn't, so if my phone is on low volume and I switch the phone to silent before bed, the alarm rings at the same set volume and thus doesn't wake me up!

My previous Blackberry phones allowed this change, as does my wife's current Pearl.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, the alarm on the Q10 has independent volume settings. You can also choose your own music, which is something I've always loved.

Also, you can just put it in bedside mode which will silence your other notifications so that you don't have to turn them down before bed every night.

Also have a question about alarm clock.

Is there a way to add more than one alarms? I like to set multiple alarm times and I can't find how to here.

right now, no you cant. there are 3 ways to do multiple alarms: 1) download a 3rd party alarm app 2) download the clock 10.2 .bar and install to the phone 3) wait for 10.2 to be released

Is there a way to add vibration to the alarm? I see under settings and there's no such option...

I downloaded the 10.2 .bar file for clock and have been using multi alarms for 2 days now, works like it should! Was easy to install as well.

Just download the file to your PC, and sideload like you would any android app, it replaces the existing clock app on the phone.

Also would like to add, swipe down from top puts your phone into night alarm mode and turns off notifications. So your phone will stop annoyingly ring in the middle of the night.

Also love the fact that you can put your phone into vibe or silent mode but your alarm will ring with sound independent of sound settings.

An inconvenience about the alarm clock. Why can't you just type the time that you want it to go off? Maybe it's just me, but the scrolling to get exactly 7:45 seems much more difficult than typing the numbers 7:45, like you used to be able to.

I agree with you. I have the same problem and my alarm time is 7.45 too.

When you wake up tomorrow morning, give me a call because I may have mis-set my alarm.
