After upgrade: no reply button in email

Why is there no longer a reply button in an email the first time i view it? There is a reply-all but that always includes me in the senders (but then that might be good because I can not longer see my sent emails and that would give me a copy - aren't upgrades fun?)
However if I go back to the hub and then open that email again there is the reply button where it should be.

And as a follow up for things missing from emails:
When I finally do hit the replay button why can't I see who i'm sending to unless I scroll down from the top and open that goofy screen-shifting separate section above.
