Seriously is it worth to wait for the Q10? I am currently using the iphone 4s after I sold my bb9780. I am planning to re-join the bb life as I miss the keyboard so much. And I noticed that the 9900 is relatively cheap now. I am considering Q10 or 9900. Furthermore, is 9900 still using BIS? be coz I heard that they remove the BIS in OS10 which makes my iphone data plan works.

Wait the Q10 ofcourse.. it soud like u have a 9900 with bigger screen and will soon be running your fav apps that wasn't in os7 pr later + if u can't wait an app you can side load the android viersion of it as temporary solution.. no more the black clock as it was n the 9900..

Basically a new better experience with the QNX/Bb10..

Even that i'm not a fan of physical keyboards but Q10 got better battery than 9900 and Z10.. it's 2100 mAh ..

    It's absolutely worth to wait

I think that the Q10 will be available in a month, maybe less in UK or Canada.

It's looking like an April release, but there are no firm dates set. Q10 will be absolutely worth the wait.

Going for the 9900 instead of the Q10 is like going for an iPhone 3G when the iPhone 5S is around the corner. Except that the iPhone 3G would likely cost a fraction of the 5S while the 9900 is still a little pricey considering that it's running BB7 on old hardware.

Just wait for the Q10. I'm sure the UK will be one of the first markets to get it since the Z10 launched there first. If not, then Canada will get it first and you can just import one :P

The best of both Worlds would be to sell your iPhone, buy an old beat up 9900, use that for a couple months and then buy the Q10 when it comes out.

Keep the 9900 around as a backup phone or just salvage whatever value you can get from it, probably very little though.

Hi Leo, I am waiting for the Q10 to come out so I can speedily upgrade from my very disappointing BB9900 (which I have had since Oct 2011).

Am on my second BB9900 (the first had a 'proximity sensor' bug....), so I do believe that my two biggest issues (see below) are down to design faults, and not just a one-off badly built handset

The battery life is appalling on the 9900, worst battery experience in 8 years of using BlackBerries (it IS much better than it was when the phone was first released, but it is still pants in comparison to my old BB9700)

9900 has WiFi calling, not UMA/GAN - pants, pants, pants. I travel a lot (nationally & internationally), I also stay at a lot of rural places that have no 3G signal..... this was no problem when I had UMA on my trusty old 9700 (probably the best phone I have ever used.....). The call quality with Wi-Fi calling (it runs on s/w, not a special UMA chip) is really bad compared to what I used to experience with UMA - AND there is no handoff to a 3G signal (or vice versa)... Nope, Wi-Fi Calling just DROPS the call....

Positive Point: the BB9900 does have, by far, the best keyboard I have ever used on a phone

Best News: I am due a free upgrade, and just waiting to have a play with the Q10 before I commit to a new phone (haven't opted for the Z10 as I like a real keyboard)

Hope this helps inform your decision
