    Hey guys,

I just wanted to know does the Q10 happen to have the option to select 2G because when I had the 9900 it used to last forever when I had no 3G turned on.

Also for those who have the Q10 is there the possibility of hiding the Icons that we don't want?

That is up to your carrier. But most allow you to switch 3G and LTE off.

Thanks for the reply. I'm on O2 in the UK and wish I didn't sell my 9900 now lol. I actually have the Galaxy Note 2 and my typing is horrible and I find that I use my Note too much and with the blackberry having no decent apps it will hopefully let me use my smart phone less!

Another question that I have is that the white looks really nice BUT I have seen on the white 9900 and other white bberys and they stain yellow after prolonged use so think I'll be getting the black one haha!

I have bunched all the icons and apps I can't delete but don't want, into a folder and thrown them on the last page Sorted.

The screen grab of the network selection thingy....

What is the difference between 4G and LTE please? If I understand correctly, LTE is 3.9G rather than 4G, so does the Q10 work on both?

Depends on the chipset, and spec of the phone I believe, hence different models for different regions and markets.

well at least you can group them all together.
I think the 9900 is a real work horse, it seems that they shouldn't have gotten rid of the buttons.

Can you guys ever imagine a scenario whereby they make a larger bbery? I have big hands and would really love a larger phone!

What was wrong with getting rid of the buttons? Once you are used to the gestures it makes little difference. In fact I find it faster.

True 4G is LTE. Some carriers brand their HSPA/HSPA+ networks as 4G, which are faster than 3G, but not as fast as LTE.

Guys the battery of the Q10 is unstoppable, you shouldn't really worry about the possibility of switching to a 2G, had my phone for a week and i get a solid 20h or so!!!!

Just thinking if I had 2g then it would last a week lol

You able to shed any light on the scheduled messages? That feature is a godsend

If the difference between 4g and 3g is the same as 3g and 2g then I will probably rarely turn it on!

I turned off my LTE and went to 4G and didn't find too much of a difference. It may be because I'm on wifi 90% of the time between work and home.
