Bendiep, all of them have the squeeky screen when u pushed down slightly. It's a known problem, I posted a thread here and the mods deleted it... blackberry is trying to sweep it under the rug, wouldn't be surprised if if they paid crackberry to delete any threads talking about it

I must be really unlucky or BB's build quality is diminishing! Thats the LAST thing I think about when I buy a new phone, but now its like the FIRST thing I think about buying from BB.

If my 3rd Q10 is defected then, its not just a coincidence.

It seems you might be a bit unlucky. Then again there has been reports of defective devices with every company.

What do you mean? What good are phones to me when one defects to Russia and the other to my teenage daughter? Both are lost to me.

3rd Q10 results are in!

Perfect built quality! But has software problems relating to the keyboard!

When I press some letters like 't' it spits out"Yidt". The other broken keys spit out different 4 character combinations.

I'm gonna install a newer OS to see if it fixes it!

If not then FAIL Q10 #3!

On a serious note, there was a thread about the double typing issue that a number of us experienced. I recall someone with a "yidt" problem. Just search "yidt".

That's not true I've had 2/3 without a squeaky screen! and 100% of every Q10 i've played with in stores doesn't have it either

Edit: Damn one other user has had the same problem but there was no resolution besides return it!

4th Q10 = Very minor squeaky screen!

I give up getting a perfect Q10 gonna stick with this one! But yeah pretty disappointed in BB for this years qwertys! Hopefully next year will be different!

Is it the left side of the screen? The left side of the last two Q10s I have press in a little and have a squeak. It's nothing major, but it definitely squeaks if I press it firmly.

maybe the place you're getting them from is giving you previous returns. id make sure the one I got was sealed.

Good luck, no one should put up with a manufacturing defects on any product, especially an expensive premium one. It's not like it's going to get better over time is it? By the time my upgrade is available I hope that all these issues are sorted. My new tech ocd won't let me put up with minor annoying faults.

I've opened 4 sealed Q10 boxes! Unless they're allowed to reseal it then I'm not sure!

Yeah but the loan phones they give you in australia are ridiculously crap and I can't stand it anymore lol. Atleast this one is minor
