    Is it normal for the notification sounds to be less loud? I can still play music to its normal loudness but the notification sounds is a lot quieter now even tho its on maximum volume. Any advice?

    I was also facing this issue,But i noticed the "Volume slider" inside "Notification" was set on Lowerside,
    I restored it to right Level .

    Fmi so after you adjusted the volume slider -- did it come back to original volume level ?? for me it does not -- I down graded to 10.2.1.3062 and I am back to normal -- It is a bug and world over people are having issues hope BB comes with a fix soon.
