Hi,
I'm a complete noob, and been trying to get 10.2 with sachesi but I can't get it to work and last time I got it on it messed up my system.
So is there someone out there who would like to write a detailed tutorial on how to get 10.2 on my verizon unlocked phone? It is the SQN 100-2 variant.

I don't want to get your hopes up but I'm on Verizon in the U.S. and got the official release of 10.2.1.537. It said there was a software update and it I did it right from the phone. It took about 30 minutes.

Ugh mine still sayd "you have the latest software".. blah!
Anyways, if this leak thingie works, will I still get the "real" update on my phone when it becomes available and then able to install that instead?

This is what I did:

open up Sachesi
Click on the Search Tab, imput: Country 268, Carrier 001, Device Q10, Variant SQN100-3.
Click Download All (This will then create a folder where Sachesi is and download all bar files to it)
While this is going on, back up your phone..
Open up link
click Backup & Restore
click Full Back Up
Close Link
By now you should have all files downloaded in Sachesi, if not, just wait until they are.
Click on install on sachesi
drag the folder into sachesi to sideload all bar files
once all bar files are sideloaded, your device will restart and you're good to go.

where is the icon for sachesi located? it should be in the same folder...

You can always try this.. drag sachesi to your desktop, and run it from there, then the folder with the bars will be on your desktop...

try searching your computer for a folder called 10.2.1.2102

Ah tried downloading it again and it finally showed up this time. Can't wait.. hope I won't have any problems with it like last time where it said an error with certain apps..

Does anybody know if I will still get the notification about the "real" update when that becomes available?

Yes, you will. I installed the leaked 10.2.1.1925* OS sometime around Christmas. When the official version was pushed to my Z10 by Verizon in January (I believe), all it added were two Verizon apps (Backup Plus Contacts and My Verizon Mobile). Everything else was the same and did not need to be updated. Anyone on Verizon who is still waiting for the "official" version to be pushed to their phone is suffering needlessly.

* Note that 10.2.1.1925 is the OS Version. 10.2.1.537 is the Software Release. Both refer to the same software.

Verizon has only released an update for the Z10. Those with a Q10 or Z30 are still waiting or have installed the update through Sachesi or an autoloader. The last rep I spoke with told me earnestly that the tech staff has no clearance to see when an update might be coming, until the testing is done (by a completely different department) and the update is announced. Anything else is just speculation.
