Everyone like forgot about this update. I dont like to use leaks. I like my blackberry because it never glitchs on me. So im waiting for the official. How much long do we have to wait???

Unfortunately you are at the mercy of the carriers that's why a lot of people start using leaked OS's.

I'm on sprint as well. I used Sachesi to download official 10.2 from Rogers in Canada, but I'm currently running 10.2.1 leak with no issues.

Yes, but Rogers doesn't have 10.2 for the 100-4. The 100-5 update will work fine, it's the one I installed.

10.2.1 is not available through sachesi. 10.2.1 is an autoloader. You plug in the phone and run the leak file and it opens a command prompt, wipes your phone and installs the leak. So when you reboot your phone, it will not be registered on the network, nor will it have any saved Wifi networks, contacts, app data, accounts data, or 3rd party apps. For contacts, I recommend downloading an app from the market called imex, which you can use to copy your contacts to your SD (memory) card, then remove your SD card before installing the leak. For apps, I just recommend remembering/writing down what you had and reinstalling after the leak. The reason I am not recommending a backup and restore is because it seems many people do have issues with the leak after doing a restore. I did not do a restore, and I am not having issues. You can download the leak from the Leaked/Beta OS forum.

You will be unable to update but you can downgrade the phone, then get the official update.

From experience, most carrier official updates are no better than the leaks.

You don't need to sside load the leaked os. Open your browser and point to the libk for the autoloader for your device and badaboom your ready to go,however for a better and constant download experience,use chrome browser.

*nb>
A)do a pre-wipe before installing leak
B)install leak using the data cable and keep plugged in but x out of BlackBerry link.
C) do not restore settings or app data, re sync to get your contacts and calendar.

***bear in mind that even I've made thse mistakes and had a corrupted instal where my apps would not load or I'd get black screen!
