What's your upper price limit (in US) for getting a Priv?

Let's say you want to get it at $499; if the price is $799, you would curse but still get it; but if the price is $800, you would be infuriated and refused to get one. In that case you should choose $799... hope this is not too complicated for prosumers? lol

$599 for me. I used to buy phones that were broken, in some way, so I could fix them up and not pay full price. Last phone I bought was $70.

I'm happy with the $799 CAD/$599 USD price if I actually need the phone right now. But since my Classic is just under a year old, I'm pulling the trigger for less, ideally $649-699 or under at ShopBB/Amazon.

$199 on a two year term. $700 unlocked. Okay maybe $750, but I'm not getting it unlocked anyway.

At this point if BlackBerry sets the price at $799 US they would be able to capture the maximum profit margin they can get without losing more than 33% potential buyers from CB (hardcore BB fan base).

I think most people are misreading the $799 USD/CAD.

Based on what I saw over at Reddit. $499-$599 is more like it. Much bigger sample size as well, whereas most over here are "OMG IS NOT BB10!!!111".

If that turns out true, it would be that it's probably $699 at shop BlackBerry since typically carrier charge more (except for iphone)

I am willing to bet $699 list price with a 'temporary' $100 discount.

$550USD. The price I paid for my 9810 in 2011.
I don't think there has been any inflation since then.
If anything this unit shouldn't be as expensive since it doesn't have all those special drivers l, etc or whatever the excuse was for not having a BB10 version.

Who's with me on 550? Let's all offer to pay that much and not a penny more. Let's form a BlackBerry union.

I won't get anything above $2000. Any other price is fine with me and I hope they price it to the excess of $1000US.
