    Yes, exactly! That makes me wonder if I am missing something in the telling; but from what I have read (and I could be wrong) this is happening regardless of whether opened apps have been cleared. For what it's worth, not all Android phones have the option of 'Clear All'. Or, I know my youngest son's phone does not. Happy to have such a function on my Android phone. But suppose that is beyond the purpose of this discussion...
