When I was still on Lollipop, I would charge my Priv to 100% and unlug it at 10 pm before going to sleep. I would turn on Battery Saver.
When I wake up in the morning, the battery has drained to 94%.

In the last 2 nights that I have been on MarshMallow, I followed the same routine but now when I wake up in the morning, the battery has only drained to 98%.

The best way to improve battery life on an android device is to disable auto-syinc data in accounts and do it manually, another battery eater are widgets especially weather ones. VPN's also use a lot of battery. Then comes the rest like screen brightness. Check battery usage to see which app is using a lot of battery. The hub seems to work with the auto-sync turned off
