I had followed a previous thread for removing this app. Seemed to work for a while but it's back again. Yahoo is not listed as an app but finance is. Can't find a way to remove it, only disable it. Any help. I hate my phone being used by an app I did not install!

In the Google Play app, there are settings to avoid Automatic updates. I wonder if that is why it came back on yours.

You can't remove or uninstall it, you can disable it. Disabling should keep Play Store from updating. But--- should and does can be different things on anything remotely connected to Andriod, so CK the Play Store and make sure it's not set to auto update Yahoo Finance.

Does anybody actually use it? Does anybody even know anyone that actually uses it? Does anybody have an aunt that has a friend, who's son knows somebody that uses it?

Disabled it within the first few hours of getting the priv and haven't thought about it since.

Every once in a while I check bbry to see what is happening to my stock investment. I have tried to disable it, but I think it is like a wart...you remove it and it just keeps coming back.

Odd, mines never popped back up.
