I don't live in any of the countries in which the Priv is available atm. I normally use eBay and sometimes Amazon to buy tech and other kind of products.
Today I was searching for a site that would ship the Priv to my country and I found that B&H has international shipping. The sad thing is that they don't have any in stock and it's expected to be available Nov. 20.
In the end with shipping included, the phone would cost me $752.75. Not bad.

So, I went to my favorite site, eBay, and searched for the device.
Surprise! Approximately $1,014.62 (shipping included). Super high price.
I keep calm and I think the price is high because the device is not sold by BlackBerry. So, I went to Amazon and searched for the device because BlackBerry sells them there.
    Another surprise! $949.00
    WOW! Just...WOW! Amazon/eBay price is crazy!-tumblr_n8u7celgin1rhavdko1_250-1.gif

I can't believe those sites have such a hiiigh price, yet other sites offer cheaper prices!
Although, the price from Amazon is the one that surprised me the most!
When the Passport devices launched(all of the variants), they had the same or almost the same prices as ShopBB!

...is this from a retail / verified seller?

There was one priv on amazon like a week ago (some one else posted the link) and pointed this exact thing out - that it wasn't a company or whatever actually selling it.

People need to make a profit if they want to flip a brand new premium phone. Why is this surprising?

Making a profit is one thing. Price gouging is another.

I hope whoever is buying the device off of eBay or Amazon, that the seller provides a copy of the original receipt so if you have a warranty issue in the future. Blackberry are very strict about honoring warranties without the receipt.
