I bought the passport at launch and I have zero problems.

My Q10 is two years old now and has gone through five keyboards thanks to the double typing issue, so I can't wait to trade it out for the new slider. I hope that it does not suffer the same keyboard problems.

Bought my passport from shop blackberry shortly after it became available. No issues at all. Plan to get the slider soon after it is released and expect it will be a solid build like all BBRYS I have owned.
Still need more info to make that call......might be holding out for a high-end all touch, but since that may never happen, would look into the slider. Depends on the "touch experience," if it's good enough then it might be the best of both worlds. Still can't beat having access to a keyboard for lengthy and technical emails.

I plan on using my wife's upgrade to get it and she will get my Classic to replace her Q10.
Classically posted, until I can Slide in a post.
Same with me and zero issues!

Absolutely yes.

$500 or less yes. $500-#700 maybe if my Z10 dies. $700 plus I will wait until price drops.

If it's not a BB10 then no thanks. I will be moving to another platform if BlackBerry decides to invest in another platform and abandon BB10.

As long as I can easily type on it then probably. That and it runs BB10 of course.

BlackBerry has a far better eco system. What BlackBerry needs is just integration of google play services and Proper marketing of that.
Why would you want to RISK TRYING to secure an unsecure platform and waste manpower there when you already have a super secure platform...which can easily be integrated with Google play.
So either,
1) Add google play services to Blackberry 10 and MARKET
2) Invest time and effort to secure Android and add blackberry skins and features to it...to sell to professionals.
The second point seems too big a risk to me. BlackBerry's strength is Work centric customers. Normal Consumers are and should always be 2nd priority. Adding google play services can easily lure normal consumers to the secure platform if Marketed!
