My Priv is a STV100-1, and I can't find any definite answer whether it supports wireless charging or not. Anyone know for sure?

Every STV-1 supports wireless charging. And QC2 as well.

But it won't work with every wireless charger. The pickup coil is very low, and slightly off center. It pretty much requires a 3 coil charger, and even then, large enough so the phone doesn't flip off the pad when the bottom 1/3 is centered on the pad.
The 45 degree chargers, (still need 3 coil) seem to work better. I use a Spigen 45 degree, phone has to set just a hair to the right. and a Samsung Fast charge 45 degree, which is not sensitive to phone being off center. Many others here are very happy with the Tylt 45 degree charger.
Note the term fast charge with the Samsung doesn't mean fast, it might be marginally faster than others, but wireless ain't fast. Roughly double what a wired charge will take.

If you want one that works with no fuss, I have been using this one: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Char...UvbUpU12877752

It works perfectly. I bought it after trying unsuccessfully the 3 coil charger I used with my Passport.

Interestingly, the Priv qi charge is fast charge compliant I take it (could be wrong) so you might check for that... via USB it surely does...

No wireless supports any type of fast charge. QI and PMA both require communication via the usb to work.
Someday somebody may come out with a wireless charger that does it's communication over BT or WiFi and can charge fast. But the power supply to the charger would be massive, and it might suck up any nearby metal stuff.

OK I understand, so are there different mAh qi coils to be aware of that would charge faster? Any other factors?

    Not really sure on that.
I don't think there can be much difference, as the pickup coil and circuit inside phone is only designed for so much.
If the charger doesn't come with a power supply, (most don't) a minimum 2amp supply is required.

Some of the charging add-on pads support "fast-er" charging since it goes through the USB. But it's STILL slower than actual USB charging. 0.750amps for standard qi charging, and 1.0amps for faster qi charging.

Not sure how fast the Priv wirelessly charges at though.

    I wasn't aware of that.
Not surprising since I thought wireless charge was more of a gimmick, till I got a phone that had it built in and actually tried it. Turns out, it's great.
Mine gos on charge when I go to bed, so I don't care about speed, or lack of. As long as it's full when I get up.

yes,it does. And I bought a fast wireless charger last month, which is compatible with samsung s7, s7 edge, s6 S6 edge plus galaxy note 5,iPhone.I don’t need to plug in USB each time I wanna charge my cellphone,Besides, this wireless charger has a cooling fan behind, the charging temperature is only 32 °-35 °.So its quality is good enough and easy to carry, which can also be used as an iPhone charger holder,so that I can enjoy music, movie and chatting while charging~So I think I’d like to recommend it to you.Hope my suggestion will be useful to you~

I have an STV-100 and tested in store and it accepted a wireless charge. However, when I bought one and took it home it did not work. Is there a requirement for a certain degree of power from the charger? The one I bought had 10 watts. Thank you for your advice.
