I don't think 3d touch is a new technology... what's the difference between a long press and 3d touch... iPhone as usual is late to the party and trying to sell it as a feature...

Well their 'peek' is a little bit new. You know except BlackBerry had it first but instead of expanding on it they just... let it stagnate and spent money on stickers lol

Of course not. Even if it did, Android is not built to work with it
It's beyond me how some people come up with ideas like that

The 3D touch is a gimmick. It is lame in my opinion.

3D touch could be confuse the users for pressing to soft or to hard could give another output and also it will cost more battery power. This was also the problem with the Storm 2. So forget 3D touch.

It's not new technology but it's a new implementation. It's not the same as long press, because the iphone 6s now has 3 methods, tap, long press (time related), and 3d touch (force related + haptic feedback). I've tried it the new macbook and i like it, it gives a slight more analog feel.

Sorry I don't care about 3D touch as much as I didn't care for the clickable display on the Storm. Being an Apple "innovation" doesn't make me want it more.
