I factory reset my priv and now the WiFi calling is not working. I contacted VW and they said to contact BB.

    Any help here?

    Thanks

    Fixed.

    I figure this out.

You would need to install VW Protect app in order to use WiFi calling.
For some reason those two works together.

Found the solution in reddit.com after hours of Web browsing.

Unfortunately not yet. They offer it only on select Apple, LG and Samsung devices.

How did you get advanced calling to work? The protect app doesn't seem to help with that. And advanced calling is nessisary to get working before wifi calling

They do, but only on devices purchased from them. Factory unlocked devices or BYOD's are black listed, (or AT&T sold devices are whitelisted, not sure which).
Also note that AT&T does not allow some of the enhanced LTE on devices purchased elsewhere. Like HD voice and VoLTE.

There is no BlackBerry device supported at this time, only some LG, Samsung and Apple devices.

Their tech people told me they supported wifi calling on any device capable of it, IF purchased from them.
Course we all know how reliable the tech folks are.

Was never available on my AT&T Priv and I just checked their website on compatible devices.

    - Install VZ Protect
    - Settings - Advanced Calling
    - Activate Advanced Calling (Provide emergency contact address).
    - Done.

You will need a Verizon branded device with a contract.

    What?
I'll definitely take your word over an AT&T techs word.

Just happy someone believes me. Not meaning to come across sarcastic.
