    I just updated my Priv phone to the new software and it is running hot and even though it is hooked up, it is loosing the charge. This just started happening when I did the most recent updated software.

    Hey, and welcome to the forums !

    What you see is expected with most updates.
    The system is setting things up, cleaning and reordering (even re-synchonizing) a lot of things.
    So just let it go, plug it to your charger and if you can, hook to a wifi network to make things faster.

    Dust should settle within 24-48 hours and your device will be sweet again !
