My priv will shutdown randomly, once when i tried uploading a postw/pics to facebook and another when i was viewing photos in google and then again this morning when i was trying to shut off my alarm. I thought it may have been the google photo app but it has shut down other times, not mentioned here. I then have to hold the power button for at least 30 secs or more to get it to respond and restart. Some time after i restart it says battery is low, but then it didn't notify me that it was low before it shut off. Then this morning when i was trying to turn off my alarm on the phone, the Alarm screen would not pop-up for me to dismiss it and as i was trying to put in my password to off the alarm in the app ( second time I have had to do this), it just shut off. when I restarted it, it said 0% battery life, so i plugged it in. After like 30 secs plugged in, it said battery was at 47%.

I have also been noticing that I have to plug my phone in to charge twice a day. Not sure what is draining my phone, as i don't use it for very much.

Yes, the battery is easy to replace if you want to keep the phone.
