I just bought a Lexar SDHC 32Gb, 633x micro card and it does not seem to fit into the appropriate PRIV tray.

Meaning that it does not physically fit into the SD card tray? Could you possibly have the wrong size SD card?

The BlackBerry Priv supports only microSD cards and those cards will fit in the tray it takes a bit of effort to figure out how to easily slip the card into the tray.

It only takes effort if you fail to read the instructions in the Priv user manual.

You do have to align the notch card/tray. And it does SNAP in with a bit of effort to get it fully in the tray.

I just tells it like I sees it. Common sense. Which most people don't have a clue about.
