50 a month for unlimited mins, texts and 10GB data. I'm on 20GB SIMO data now. I only payed 19.99 upfront down from 59.99. Feeling a little uneasy now of the monthly cost being so damn high.

Good deal apart from that terrible data cap.

    Unlimited data FTW
It's very difficult to get hold of unlimited data in the UK now. No one offers unlimited tethering.

I suppose, but I only have 500MB on my Z10 and I've only really gone over that a few times in the time I've had it, mainly when I'm abroad.

I haven't. I like the Passport form factor too much. I'll be interested to see if they do well with the Priv, & if that might lead to an update on, or updated new, Passport.

Just got one pre ordered now. Had to do a bit of shuffling about with phone contracts etc etc. 99 deposit and 36 a month which I didn't think was all that bad. The mother-in-law will probably get the EE sim I'm getting with it and my Vodafone passport sim will go in the priv. Big question is do I try sell my passport and q10 while I can or wait until they become antique curiosity??? Keeping my leap as back up though I think.

Unless your phone is some special limited device it will only further depreciate. Lithium batteries are not very good at working again once they have drained completely so if you try and use the device again in ten years time after it was last switched on it likely wouldn't work and you'll have to buy a new battery.

Unless you got something that was really popular it's unlikely to increase in value over time. The very first iphone's in 30 years time probably will be worth something but they would need to be in good nick and have something about them.

Well the passport could well be the last BlackBerry running there own o.s.is that going to be worth something to a collector, I'm thinking selling it on eBay will be more beneficial to me than keeping it for years to come though.

Based on my current deal, really can't justify any of the carphone deals. May just buy it outright when cheaper options start appearing on ebay.

Also waiting to see what Three can do. Don't want to change provider, and not paying outright over 500 quid. It would be cheaper to buy out the rest of my phone contract instead

Just because you're an 'existing' customer does not give you the right to keep those privileges for life. If a company tells you in advance of changes to a contract and you accept them you're bound by the new agreement.

Three scrapped the unlimited tethering as soon as 4G came out. They were scared the infrastructure would have been overloaded.

Nope. Far too expensive. It's 40 more expensive than an iPhone 6S, and 140 more expensive than a Nexus 6P!

It's in no way competitively priced.
