It does not have one specifically as it uses Google versions, however being android there are no end of alternatives you can download from the app store.
Thats the beauty of android in that it gives you choices.

Problem 1: download a gallery app of your choosing via Play Store. "F-Stop Gallery" is pretty nice.

Problem 2: The Privactually comes with two choices of SMS; Hangouts or the app named Messenger. If neither suit your fancy, once again you simply download any other that you prefer. Popular substitutes are Textra, 8sms, Handcent, ChompSMS, etc. But I recommend Textra.

I use QuickPic for viewing my Media Gallery. Its quick and reliable. Has an option of opening Last Viewed Folder + Customizable to scan only specific folders for photos and videos.

    Hope that helps !!!

I got rid of quickpic when they were purchased by Cheetah mobile. They are a seriously sketchy company.

Actually I really like the simplicity of QuickPic. DTek reports that since I installed it in November, it has not accessed ANY permissions.
