Hi all. Can anyone tell me where the zero is on the virtual keyboard? When I drag it down there is 1 to 9 plus pound and asterisk but no zero on either page of symbols. You have to use the "alt-plus microphone" key on the bottom row of the physical keyboard. Am I missing something?

For the Z30, you need to press the bottom left numbers key and it's on the top right corner.

I think the op is referring to when you have the pkb open and hit the sym key twice or swipe down twice...it has 1-9 but no zero.

    I don't think it's an 'oversight'.

Basically they only provide virtual keys that map to the top three rows of the physical keys, because those are the only physical keys that have alternative symbols associated to them. That way you can use the physical keys to enter the virtual alt keys.

The 0 (as well as shift, space bar, sym) are direct keys (i.e. They don't have alt symbols associated to them), such that you would never need them to be displayed on the virtual alt keyboard (because they are directly accesible all the time).

Hopefully that's less confusing to read than it was to write.

Thanks very much. I see where my problem was. When you just use the virtual keyboard on the Priv it's the same as on the Z30 and the PP, that is, there is a ?123 button that brings up all the numbers. I was trying to pull down the virtual keyboard while the physical keyboard was extended. For some reason (possibly kb space), when you do this the ? goes to a separate key on the second level and there is no zero at all on the virtual keyboard. The solution is to close the manual KB and use the virtual one.

I found where your zero is. It's right here on my passport virtual keyboard. As you can see I have two zeros!

Does anyone ever pay attention to what forum this is posted in?

I came across this the other day as well.
It does show up occasionally. For instance, when you have to enter a zip code/post code or if you are in full touch mode.
When there is a hard key with the screen up, it seems kinda funny that there would be a digital representation of it.
It does and does not seem like an over sight.
Just one of those funny grey area's.
